Dear Neighbour,
Have you heard the Sky Larks over Cottingley Moor, seen Hedgehogs scampering around in the evening, or Roe Deer in the fields and woods or Peacock Butterflies in your garden? Over winter there were Wax Wings in Cottingley; did you catch sight of them?
You may recall that, during the October 2010 meeting of Cottingley Neighbourhood Forum, we decided (over the next two years) to complete nine new community actions 'to make Cottingley a better place in which to live for everybody'. One of these actions was to create more wild-life friendly gardens and open spaces and deepen our knowledge of some of the other creatures that share our space in Cottingley.'
If you, or any other member of your household, is interested in improving your garden for wildlife or finding out more about the amazing variety of creatures that share our habitat in Cottingley, we invite you or them to get in touch by completing this questionnaire below
