This photograph was taken by Frances late summer 1920 with the 'Cameo' camera sent to Elsie by Edward Gardner.
Distance 3 to 4 ft. Exposure 1/50th sec.
The fairy is standing almost still, poised on the bush leaves. The wings were shot with yellow. Fairies - The Cottingley Photographs and their
sequel by Edward Gardner. The contact print owned by Frances - on the rear in pencil is written 'Frances Griffiths Form 2A Girls Municiple School Scarboro'
