Photograph taken by Elsie in August 1920 with the 'Cameo' camera. Distance 3 ft. Time 1/50th sec.
This negative was strictly examined and disclosed no trace of being other than a perfectly genuine
photograph. The fairy is leaping up and hovering for a moment - it had done so 3 or 4 times. The wings were lavender in colour. Fairies - The Cottingley Photographs and their
